Some thoughts about Moms and
Mother’s Day
by Chef Mark
Smith
I just spent four days in Ohio being fed and pampered by
my Mom (well, actually by both my folks – it was a great visit) so this year’s Mother’s Day menu is sort of an ode to my
own Mom. I’ve put a lot of my favorites on it, included brunch and lunch choices and made it a really great value. Just click here
for the whole menu: http://www.thetortillapress.com/Mothers-Day-Menu.php And we’re accepting reservations for all size parties, so feel free to call us at 856-869-3345
and reserve your spot for Sunday, May 11th.
Since it’s May and the official start of both the
farm and the Farmers Market season, I’m especially excited about “Veggin’ Out,” a two day celebration on May 19th
and 20th of vegetarian (and vegan) menus that I’m doing as part of a new, creative group of chefs who have formed SJ Culinary
Events. For “Veggin’ Out” I’ve created a great four course menu for $30.00 and whether
you’re vegetarian or not (okay, meat eaters, our regular menu will be available as well!) you wont’ want to miss this. Click here for
the delicious details: http://www.thetortillapress.com/Veggin-Out-Menu.php
May has one more surprise: I got addicted to Twitter
(totally my wife's fault). So...
Gimme a Tweat on my Twitter…(and I mean that in the nicest
possible way)
twitter.com/chefmarksmith or twitter.com/tortillapress
And finally, a personal message: Mom, you still make a way
better Swiss steak than I ever will.
